This is a description of the steps to follow for online registration.
- Request online registration - To get your unit set up to use online registration
use the "Request Online Unit Registration - closes
August 8, 2010"
link.
You will then need to enter your unit information and assign yourself or someone in your unit to
be the unit contact person. This person will enter the unit and individual information and
be the person who will receive information from Pathways to Eagle.
- Login information - After you request online registration the contact person will receive an email with
the unit login information (username and password) to access and update your unit's
registration information.
- Verify and update unit information - When you get your username and password information login and
use the "Update xxxx xx Unit Information" button to verify and make any needed updates to your unit information.
- Pay the Unit Registration - Use the "Display xxxx xx Registration Status" button to
display your unit's current registration status and amount due. Print this information and
mail along with a check or money order for the amount due to the address on the form.
Note: If you have registered a Scout that can not attend and your have another scout that wishes to attend you can
just change the name and Merit Badge information of that Scout to the information for the new Scout.
- Register Individuals - You will be able to register the youth and adults that will be
attending Pathways to Eagle once your unit registration payment has been received and posted to the registration
system.
When registering Boy Scouts be sure to select the six Merit Badge choices for each Scout.
When the time comes to assign Scouts to Merit Badge sessions these will be the only ones to choose from for that Scout.
Note: You can go back and change any or all of the six Merit Badges choices for each Scout.
- Pay the Individual Registration - Use the "Display xxxx xx Registration Status" button to
display your unit's current registration status and amount due. Print this information and
mail along with a check or money order for the amount due and to the address on the form.
Be sure that you mail your payment for individual registration before

to avoid a late fee of $5.00 for each late individual registration.
Note: If you have registered a Scout that can not attend and your have another scout that wishes to attend you can
just change the name and Merit Badge information of that Scout to the information for the new Scout.
- Merit Badge Session - Starting on

you will be able to place
your Scouts that are marked as paid in the system into merit badge sessions. By doing this for the Scouts
in your unit you will have some control over which of the six Merit Badges the Scout requested he will get.
Note: The availability of a Merit Badge session will be based on the actual availability of Merit Badge counselors on the day of the event.
- Merit Badge Session - Starting on or after
08/02/2010
the Pathways to Eagle committee will start assigning Scouts to merit badge sessions if you have not. You will
be able to view/print the merit badge reports as indicated below.
- Unit Reports - Before
August 8, 2010
be sure to view and print the Scoutmaster's Merit badge control sheet by using the "Display xxxx xx Merit Badge List"
button. Also use the "Display Individual MB Assignments" to display and print a schedule to give to your
Scouts so they know what sessions they are in.
- End of Online Registration - After about 10:00pm on
August 8, 2010
you will not be able to make any more changes online. Any additional changes and registrations will have to be
done when your unit checks in at Pathways to Eagle.
